The Computer Science program offers education in the field for those who wish to pursue careers as software engineers, software developers, programmers, and database designers, as well as in other related areas.
A Computer Science major with a concentration in bioinformatics will prepare students to enter the computer intensive fields of bioinformatics, computational biology, computational chemistry, and molecular modeling including genomics and proteomics.
A minor in Computer Science is also available, in addition to interdisciplinary minors in web development and information technology.
