Worcester State seeks to enroll students who will succeed academically, thrive socially and contribute meaningfully to the campus community. At present, there are eleven majors that can be completed entirely in the evening: Business Administration, Chemistry, Communication, Community Health, Criminal Justice, English, Health Education, History, Natural Science, Psychology and Sociology.
While many students are enrolled at the University as “First-year Students” (directly out of high school). We also admit many students as “Transfer Applicants” and as “Non-Traditional Applicants.” Adult students generally fall into these last two categories.
A “Transfer Applicant” is a student who has taken at least 12 credits at another college or university. Students in this case, would apply through the Admissions Office and would need to have official transcripts sent from all previously attended institutions of higher education.
A “Non-Traditional Applicant” is a student who completed high school more than three years ago and may or may not have credits from other academic institutions.
If you are applying as an evening student (11 majors available), you can apply online through the Admissions Office or download the Application for Evening Undergraduate Admission here.
