    June 25th, 26th, 27th, 29th and 30th

Discover the inside world of authors. Every June, our Authors' Institute features influential writers who present to graduate students and teachers from across New England. The event takes place over a one-week period, from June 25-30, and features a different children’s author each day. Readability levels span from kindergarten through the middle-school grades.

As a participating student, you will hear featured authors present their literature, discuss literacy issues, suggest ways to motivate and develop student interest in literature, and provide important tips about writing for publication. The Authors' Institute also formalizes teacher-based activities and techniques that promote classroom creativity and fuel teacher and student interest in writing. This program awards graduate credit and professional development points.

The cost of this program is $685, which includes lunch. Graduate and professional development credits awarded.
