Worcester State University Dining Services is managed by Chartwells, a Division of Compass Group North America. At Chartwells, our goal is to be one of the best dining programs in the nation, with a repertoire of various cuisines and outstanding services for our customers.
We currently operate six dining location’s on campus. Our dining program provides students, faculty and staff with an array of dining options, ranging from self-serve buffet style in the resident dining location to retail dining and the finest in catering. Please visit our website at www.Dineoncampus.com/wsu for the most up to date information on meal plans, dining menus, hours of operation, special events and much more.
Social Responsibility: We offer fair trade, shade grown coffee at all of our locations on campus. Compass Group joined forces with Seafood Watch List, a program of the Monterey Bay Aquarium in California that is designed to inform consumers of the importance of purchasing sustainable seafood. We do our very best to only serve sustainable seafood in our dining hall. Our customers enjoy the wild, all natural and flavorful Alaska salmon, Pacific cod, Alaskan Wild Pollack and USA Farm Raised Catfish. All of our eggs are cage free. We fully support the local farmers and purchase locally grown products when in season. The resident dining hall has been tray-less which has helped us save on water, electricity and food waste. Together we can make a difference.
Meal Plans: Chartwells offers a wide variety of meal plans to both resident students and commuter students. Resident students can choose from the freedom plan, 14-meal plan, 10-meal plan, 7-meal plan and a 65 block plan for students with 90 credits or more. We also have a commuter dining dollar plan for all freshman, sophomore and first time transfer students. All meal plans expire at the end of each semester.
