Sales Interns will get to participate in the direct sales force of a software startup. Most activities will involve making outbound calls to set appointments with decision makers. Students will work for 10-20 hours a week for 15 weeks or whatever is deemed appropriate by the school, Solstice, and intern. Students will be given additional assignments which may include sales support activities, or involvement in other aspects of the sales cycle such as email creation. Students will be taught both business and technical terminology or industry lingo. Those who have an interest in high tech sales will get a solid sense of technical sales environment.
