Commencement Info for Faculty/Staff
Dear members of the Faculty, Librarians and Staff:
I am writing to encourage your attendance at commencement on Saturday, May 12, 2012. This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the many achievements of our graduating students. Your presence at this important event means a great deal to the students and their families and also celebrates your contribution to the success of our students.
Robing for faculty and staff will take place in ROOM F, please come in Door 5 on major Taylor Blvd. Please arrive no later than 10:30 a.m., which will allow time to line up and for the procession to begin promptly at 11:30 a.m.
Free parking is available at the Worcester Municipal Parking Garage, 30 Major Taylor Boulevard, with a permit. You may obtain a permit at the President’s Office until Friday, May 11, or you may obtain one from Jerry Sorge in Room F on Saturday.

All participating faculty, librarians and administrative staff should be dressed in their regalia and be ready to form a procession line by 11:30 a.m.

The Worcester Municipal (located at 30 Major Taylor Blvd.) is a two minute walk to the DCU Center. There will be no cost for parking if you are planning to participate in the opening procession. Before leaving the DCU Center, please pickup a parking voucher from Jerry Sorge who will be distributing them to participating faculty, librarians and administrative staff. |
