Student Employment
The Conference and Event Services Office is comprised primarily of student employees. Throughout the academic year, 15 - 18 students are employed, including weekends and school breaks. Employees are allowed to work a maximum of 18 hours per week while school is in session and 35 hours per week during breaks.
The Conference and Event Staff ensure a quality event by facilitating all event needs. This includes but is not limited to event set-up and break down, audio-visual equipment set-up and break down, answering general campus questions, providing direction for on and off campus clients. The Conference and Event Staff are a customer based operation focusing on individual attention.
