Careers and Internships
Study in the field of Geography can lead to employment in a variety of areas including government, education, public health, planning and business. Recent graduates from the Geography program have been hired in the local area by a number of agencies and companies. Students are required to complete either an Internship or Independent Study for their Geography degree. Internships provide students the opportunity to work in their field in the “real world” and meet and interact with a potential future employers.
