Ditch the Dumpster 2013

The second annual Move Out Donation Drive at WSU will take place May 7th-17th 2013. This year the theme is "Ditch the Dumpster." Students who are moving out of the dorms at the end of the semester will have an opportunity to donate items to a community yard sale instead of throwing items into the trash.

Donation bins are located on every floor of Dowden and Wasylean, as well as the first floor of every Chandler building. Remember if it can't be donated, recycle it!

Earnings from the yard sale will be used to purchase a new Hydration Station for the campus. Items that are not sold at the yard sale will be donated to charity.

 

WSU's First Ever Move-Out Donation Drive a Success!

Worcester State University held its first Move Out Donation Drive in 2012. We were able to collect over two tons of donations which is enough to fill a large dumpster. We diverted approximately 17% of all move out trash, making our first ever Move Out Donation Drive a success!
