Areas of Specialization
My major field of interest in Political Science is comparative political systems and the American legislative process.  I became a member of the Worcester State College faculty in 1968.  I taught at Wachusett Regional High School before I came to Worcester State.

Scholarship and Activities
I was a cofounder of the Faculty Union in 1970.  It has since become a chapter of the Massachusetts State College Association.  I have served as an officer in the union until 2004, and I am currently vice-president of the MSCA.  I am proud of being a faculty advocate.  I have been part of countless contract negotiations; a small but typical item in the contract is our right to attend the funeral of colleagues on college time.

Courses
PO 101 Principles of Political Science
PO 217 The Legislative Process
PO 220 and 221 Comparative Political Systems I and II
