As a new student at WSU, navigating our technology services can be a bit overwhelming. Here’s how to get started:

    • Set up your WSU Gmail account as soon as you submit your deposit. If you have not already retrieved your username and password (from your deposit confirmation letter), follow the instructions shown in the following video:
Your WSU Gmail account account is your official means of communication at Worcester State. Offices and professors will begin to contact you through this account regarding placement testing, course scheduling, and other important matters. Your Gmail account comes with 25+ gigabytes of storage for documents, email, calendar, websites, and more.
    • Log in with your WSU login credentials and familiarize yourself with our student community portal, This WSU community portal contains links to our Blackboard learning management system, WSU Gmail, WebAdvisor, and more.
    • Review our recommended laptop purchase program. We require all students to have laptops. Through our purchase program, you can take advantage of special pricing on hardware from Apple or Dell that we have vetted for durability, reliability, and supportability. When you purchase a laptop through our program, we provide on-campus support free of charge and a complete-care warranty for the length of the manufacturer’s warranty.
