Amanda Diaz


Amanda Diaz is an always smiling sophomore at Worcester State College. She hopes to return to her hometown in Lawrence to give back to her community and work with the youth. Amanda is a major in Sociology, a member of The Third World Alliance, and works in the athletics department running the intramural sports. Amanda is one of eight children, raised by a single mother, and the first of her siblings at a four year college. Despite the struggles she has over come, Amanda has always kept her focus on her education, refusing to become another statistic of a high school drop out or a teen parent. Always determined, and hoping for success, Amanda is also committed to the service of others.
