Older Student Registration for Summer Sessions
Summer I:  May 20 - June 28
Register Thursday, May 16th from 1:00-3:00 p.m.
Summer II: July 1 - August 9
Register Thursday, June 27th from 1:00-3:00 p.m.
List of courses will be in the DGCE (Dept. of Graduate and Continuing Education) 4th floor, Administration Building.  Registration will be in the Registrar's office, Room A107 in the Administration Building.
Fall orientation and registration will be Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013.  Details later.
        HUNGRY?  Need help with food?  Get SNAP!
SNAP is the Supplemental Nutirition Assistance Program, fomerly know as food stamps.  Some college students may be eligible.  The SNAP office is located in the Urban Studie Department (Room S129D).  Hunger Outreach Team (HOT) members are available for appointments and will check voice mail messages.  IF YOU NEED HELP PLEASE LEAVE A MESSAGE at 508-929-8957.

A GARDEN FOR ALL AGES
Please see www.worcester.edu/construction and click on "A Garden for All Ages" to see pictures of the garden in the formative stages or "Like" the IUI on Facebook to see pictures of WSU students and the Chandler Magnet classes participating. 
Springtime will be a busy time for the garden.  Watch for opportunities to participate!  Contact the IUI at 508-929-8900 for more information or to be involved in this exciting intergenerational "teaching garden".

WSU older students are encouraged to share their experience and skills with traditional students in unique learning opportunities including but not limited to:

Hunger Awareness and Outreach (HOT)
A Garden for All Ages

ELL (English Language Learner) Tutoring Program
Students may register to tutor for credit!
Register for UR-440-01 to tutor on the WSU campus Wednesdays, 11:30-12:20 or
Register for UR-440-02 to tutor at 425 Pleasant St., Worcester on Tuesdays, 3:00-4:00 p.m.
Register for UR-440-03 to tutor Thursdays, 10:00-11:00 a.m. at NU Cafe, 335 Chandler St., Worc.

WSU is an "Age-integrated" Campus
You are welcome and invited to attend all public events on the WSU campus.  See the WSU calendar:
 
WSU generously offers free courses (on a space available basis) to MA residents age 60 and older.  Free tuition, no fees.  You must register in person and provide proof of age and residency to receive a tuition waiver. 
WSU first began offering free tuition courses to MA residents 60 and older in 1983.  This fall we will celebrate 30 years as an "age-integrated" campus!
