Getting Started For Faculty/Staff

User Accounts - The process for account creation is as follows:  New employee information is entered into our Colleague database by the Human Resources/Payroll departments.  Within 24 hours, this information will be used to generate a user account that will be needed to access any of the Worcester State College systems including Blackboard, WSC Email, WebAdvisor and our campus computer network.  New faculty and staff members should bring their WSC OneCard ID to the Information Technologies office, LRC-310 to obtain their network username and password.  Copies can be obtained by going to https://Community.worcester.edu (password lookup) or by contacting the Information Technologies Helpdesk (x8856 or the Web Support Form).  A printed copy can be mailed via the USPS to the employee’s home address (we can not provide this information over the phone or via email).
