Current Student Learning Assessment of the Majors
The assessment of the majors is the assessment of student learning outcomes for all academic majors on a rotation basis. Each academic major assesses their student learning outcomes every two years. The work is accomplished through a variety of quantitative and qualitative means from essays with rubrics to e-portfolios assessing a sample of students in the program. A faculty assessment liaison from each department spearheads the assessment in conjunction with the assessment office and a team of faculty from their department.
