After You Apply for Student Visa (F1) Applicants
    1. When your documents and application fee are received, they will be reviewed to make sure all necessary information and supporting documents are included.
      •  If your information is incomplete, your application will be put on hold and you will be notified of the missing information.
      •  If your application is complete, you will be accepted into the program within 48 hours. Your documents will be sent to the Worcester State University International Programs Office.

    2. There are several ways you can choose to receive your acceptance letter and I-20. Please note your choice on the application (page one, Part IV). Choose the way you want to receive your documents:
      • Sent internationally or in the United States by express mail. You will need to include the fee.
      • Picked up by your local contact. On the application, you will need to complete Section 3, “Waiver of Confidential Information,” and in Section 4, “Visa Information,” you will need to check the box that says “My proxy will pick up my I-20.”

    3. You will need to report to both Worcester State University’s International Programs Office (Student Center, Office 320) and IELI within 30 days of your arrival in the United States. Not reporting to your school after your arrival can result in U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement canceling your visa status. Be prepared to present your passport, I-20, proof of health insurance, Worcester State University Medical Form, and the balance of your tuition upon arrival.
