I recently participated in a Symposium on Christianity and Islam at the Antiochian Village, Ligonier, PA, from 21 - 25 July 2008. My paper was titled, "Christians and Jews under Islam." It will be published in the forthcoming issue 6 of The Word magazine, the official publication of the Antiochian Orthodox Church.

I have been a member of the Middle East Studies Association (MESA) and the Arab-American University Graduate Association since 1970. I have been on the editorial board of The Word magazine for many years.
