(Worcester, Mass.) -- Worcester State University is currently improving the campus with several projects which will improve the academic and student life experience for its students. WSU has a long history of dedication to providing an exceptional learning environment for its students. For more than two decades, WSU’s capital improvements have focused on establishing and maintaining state-of-the-art classroom and campus space to support our academic and student programs.

Plans for a much needed new wellness center and residence hall are currently underway. “Worcester State has a wonderfully strong community of faculty and students actively engaged in research, civic engagement and campus and community life,” said President Barry Maloney. “To fully support their endeavors, the areas on campus that most need improvement presently are our health and wellness facility, our Learning Resource Center, and our residence halls, specifically their capacity. This important phase of growth at Worcester State will enable students to enjoy and take advantage of a comprehensive university environment for years to come.”
