Dear Members of the Campus Community:
I deeply regret to inform you that a Worcester State University student passed away on our campus today.
On behalf of the entire Worcester State University I want to express my deepest sympathy to the family and friends of the student. Worcester State University Counselors are on hand to meet with all and any students who need counseling.
I want to thank the Worcester State University Police, Worcester Police Department, the Massachusetts State Police and the Worcester District Attorney’s office for their prompt and professional response.
The case is under investigation. According to the Worcester District Attorney’s Office, the cause of death is not suspicious.
