The Office of Institutional Advancement supports and promotes WSC’s mission to provide an accessible, high-quality academic experience to our students. As a state-assisted institution, the office’s primary responsibility is to deliver a reliable stream of private funding to help fulfill this mission. Donations and grants create endowed student scholarships, underwrite faculty research and presentations at prestigious conferences, purchase state-of-the-art equipment for our laboratories, enhance our curriculum development, and more. We also strive to foster lasting relationships with alumni, foundations, corporations, and legislators, and communicate with these constituencies as well as students and potential students. The Office of Alumni Development and the Office of Public Relations and Marketing are also a part of Institutional Advancement.
