Since 1874, our alumni and friends have generously supported and strengthened our mission to offer our students high-quality, affordable undergraduate and graduate academic programs, lifelong intellectual growth, global awareness, and career opportunities. The result has been countless confident and accomplished men and women. But as global competition and a rapidly changing world demand better education and training, our needs grow.
Many of our alumni and friends have demonstrated their support of the University through gifts of cash or stock, appraised collections, and much more to grow our endowment, endow student scholarships, enrich academic offerings, enhance community outreach initiatives, to name a few. With greater frequency, individuals work with us to make planned gifts such as bequests, charitable gift annuities, and charitable trusts.
The Office of Development works to leverage all these resources to benefit our students and faculty. We do this by aligning the investment interests of our alumni and friends with the needs of the University.
