The Transfer Orientation Program is a half day program designed to give a comprehensive overview of academic and campus life at Worcester State College. Although transfer students have been to Orientation at their previous institution, it is important to understand that every college is different. Our abbreviated program will allow transfers to become familiar with our campus and the services we provide.  The transfer program will include:

·         An academic overview

·         Explanation of transfer credits

·         Representatives from Student Services

·         Campus tour

 

Transfer Orientation will be held on Thursday, August 26 in the Student Center.  For your convenience, there will be two Transfer Orientation programs that day for you to choose from.

The Registration link for Transfer Orientation will be available in June 2010.

Transfer Residents: 

All transfers who will be living on campus in the fall will be able to move into their room prior to and after the Transfer Orientation program. Residence Life and Housing will send out details about the move in process over the summer.

Commuter Students:

You will get your picture taken and receive your OneCard, which is your Worcester State College ID, from the OneCard Office. The OneCard Office is located in the Administration Building (First Floor). Their hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9 a.m.– 4 p.m. and Wednesdays 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Please bring with you a picture ID. You must be registered for classes for at least 24 hours in order to get your OneCard. 

 

Resident Students:

You must have your OneCard picture taken PRIOR to move-in. Please go to College Police located in Wasylean Residence Hall. The College Police office is open Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 2:15 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. – 4:15 p.m. Please bring with you a picture ID. You must be registered for classes for at least 24 hours in order to get your OneCard. 

 

You may have an opportunity during orientation to complete this process if you have not done it prior to orientation. We encourage you to take care of it before hand.
