Payroll & Benefits

Welcome to the Payroll Website

Because the Payroll & Benefits Office is responsible for processing all payrolls and maintaining the related attendance and benefits records, every employee has contact with this office at some point in their service at the College.

Therefore, we have tried to include as much information as possible at this website to assist you with your payroll and/or benefits questions. If you cannot find the information you are seeking, please feel free to contact us by e-mail or telephone.

Time Summary Sheets Workshops & Refreshers

Attention Department Heads!

  • Do you have part-time student and non-student employees working in your department?
  • Do you want to make sure they are paid correctly and on time?
  • Are you having trouble using the time summary sheets?
The Payroll & Benefits office will be offering 3 workshops to explain the time-keeping process for part-time non-benefited employees. The target audience for these workshops would be the department managers/supervisors who are responsible for collecting and submitting attendance records for the student and non-student part-time employees in their area(s).

We will present a brief overview of the process, a walk-through and demo of how to download and use the summary sheets, and the provide time for questions.

Please make every effort to attend one of these sessions if you are or have had problems with the time summary sheets or if this is the first year you have had non-benefited employees in your area.

The dates and times are listed below. All workshops will be held in Room 337 in the Shaughnessy Administration Building. Please register with either Mary Zona (X8491) or Valerie Kelley (X8665) in the Payroll Office if you plan to attend.

Session 1 - Thursday, August 5, 2:30-3:30
Session 2 - Wednesday, August 18, 9:30-10:30
Session 3 - Tuesday, September 14, 10:00-11:00

403(b) Plan Annual Notice
As required by law, the annual notice of eligibility has been posted to this website on the Tax Sheltered Annuity page under the Benefits section. All employees, with the exception of student employees, are eligible to enroll in a tax-deferred savings plan referred to as a 403(b) or tax-sheltered annuity. In addition to the annual notice, you will also find the Commonwealth's Plan Summary outlining the policies, procedures, and regulations governing the administration of these plans.

If you are interested in saving and investing to supplement your retirement income, please consider enrolling in a 403(b). You may obtain additional information and speak with a plan representative at the Employee Benefits Fair on April 15.
