Police Training 


The Worcester State University Police force receives initial police and emergency response training from the Massachusetts State Police Academy on the 780 acre training facility in New Braintree, Massachusetts. Officers attend an eighteen week Special State Police Officer Academy. Annual in-service training at the academy keep officers sharp along with year round training in various areas.
