Area of Specialization

Michelle Chunis is currently the Program Director of Victim Services at Community Healthlink Youth and Family Services in Worcester. In addition to managing two contracts and overseeing the Victim Services Department, she is also a LICSW. Her area of specialization is trauma and abuse. Michelle has trained extensively in the field of trauma and abuse and attachment, and is a certified EMDR clinician. Michelle currently sees children, adolescents, and adults in both individual and family therapy. Michelle is a member of both the Social Work and Psychology Training committees at CHL. Currently she is completing her dissertation exploring adult women's experiences with childhood sexual abuse. She expects to graduate in March of 2009 from Capella University with a Ph.D in Human Services, Counseling Studies.
