Lindsey Bullen

Class of 2014, Resident

Majors:

Years working with the Auction: 2nd year

Why did you want to be involved in the Auction? I wanted to be involved with the Auction this year because of the  incredible experience I had last year on the committee. Hands down, the Auction is the most meaningful thing I've been involved with on campus and the three organizations it benefits are inspiring. I couldn't resist the urge to become a chairperson this year so that I could help make the event as successful as possible!

Why did you want to be involved in the Auction?
After having been involved with the WSU Auction Committee last year and seeing all of the good it did for Sherry's House, Abby's House and the Mustard Seed I knew I wanted to be a part of it again the next year. It is such a rewarding feeling seeing the persistent altruism on each year's committee, and this year I wanted to do more for the auction than I had last year, which is why I wanted to become one of the Chairs this time.

Why did you want to be involved in the Auction?
I wanted to become involved with SGA auction Committee  was for a few different reasons.  These past couple years in college, I traveled to various places in the United States, being involved in  a few different missionary trips, working for other communities. It was such an eye opening experience and I realized I had a passion helping out others and making a difference in the lives of others in various ways.  Also It was rewarding to bring smiles and hope to many to communities and individuals that did not have much. As being a SGA member, I continue to express and show these values for the charitable organizations that the  SGA is supporting right here in Worcester. It is heart warming to be part of a community of students and many individuals who have dedicated their time and have the same values, to help improve the lives of others.
