We did it! We reached...and surpassed our goal of $24,000.
Drum roll…our grand total raised through all of the events this year was a record setting $26,225.35!
The Auction Committee would like to thank everyone who supported the 19th Annual Auction to Benefit the Homeless and Children in Need. To all those who donated, volunteered their time, talked it up, attended and spent their hard earned money during this tough economy-we thank you. Without all of you this could not have been done.
A special thank you also goes out to the SGA Auction Committee: Chairs-Lindsay Durell, Desiree Nelson and Kelly Wright; Members-Joey Bianchi, Amber Connors, Ricky Corbett, Meghan Coyne, Melissa Greenlaw, Patrick Hare, Liz Malone, Lizz Rooney, and Tiffany Waller; Advisors-Josh Katz and Andrea Wamboldt; Auctioneers-Paul Joseph and John Brown III.
The Auction Committee made some significant changes to this year’s Auction. They held events throughout the year, the Red Sox trophies and an NFL player came to campus, and the live Auction was moved to a Friday night.
Please take a few moments and provide us with any feedback/suggestions you have. We will begin planning for next year’s Auction right after finals and will take into consideration ever response received. Please send your feedback/suggestions to sgaauction@worcester.edu.
Thanks again for helping us achieve our goal and for helping Abby’s House, the Mustard Seed, and Sherry’s House!
