DAY OF REMEMBRANCE

Worcester State College will honor the memory of those who lost
their lives on September 11, 2001, and has provided these
opportunities for remembrance and reflection.  

8:48 – 8:59 a.m.             Moment of Silence campus-wide

All Day                          Wall of Peace Red,
                                     Student Center
                                     Express your feelings through
                                     writing and drawing

9 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.        Counseling Center open for “drop-ins”

10:30 – 11:10 a.m.         Remembrance and Healing Service
                                    Sullivan Auditorium
                                    Time of reflection – lighting of candles
                                           Program includes:
                                           President Ashley, Dean Brownlee,
                                           Val Nordbye, Students
                                           Christie Nigro and WSC Chorale

12:30 – 1:30 p.m.            Commemoration New Quad
                                      (between Administration Bldg. and Gym Bldg.)
                                            Unveiling of SGA plaque
                                            Remembering Robin Kaplan 90
                                            Announcement of TJX
                                                scholarship/plaque
                                            “Hold On” words/lyrics by 
                                                Debbie Bisceglia '80
                                            Announcement of memorial park
                                            Planting of Peace Roses
                                            Adoption of Tatnuck Firehouse

                                       WSC Students and campus community
