Mrs. Shaughnessy was so instrumental in my student teaching years…she knew how 'frightened' I was, she made arrangements to make my days 'more comfortable'.  She was always encouraging, she knew what I was 'gifted' to be…an early childhood teacher for 42 years…God Bless Her!!  She REALLY knew who to teach and lead…Her face is always there smiling back at me…
