    Welcome First-Year Students!

Worcester State University and the New Student Orientation Program welcome you to campus. This program is designed exclusively to acquaint you with life at WSU whether you will be a resident student or a commuter student in the fall.

You will enjoy meeting members of the Worcester State community while participating in a wide range of informative sessions. These will cover departments all over campus and give you an opportunity to meet other new students in your class and major. Evening activities also will be included for all attendees. Frequently asked questions about orientation.

Orientation is a required 2-day program beginning in the morning on the first day and ending by 4 p.m. on the second. Early dismissal from the program will not be allowed. Meals are included throughout the program, and you also have the option of staying overnight on campus during your program. For the most immersive orientation experience, and to allow you to get the most benefits from the program, we encourage you to attend the overnight portion. Please arrange your schedule accordingly.
