New Call to Artists for

Light Up the Night

Worcester Windows Program

The Worcester Windows Program is managed by The Gallery at Worcester State University. We are soliciting work by artists that will use downtown Worcester windows as exhibition spaces. This Call to Artists asks artists to respond to the any of the following themes:

How do you light up the night and welcome the New Year? Fireworks, luminaries and confetti herald a season of feasting, rejuvenation, and celebration. Winter is a time of flights of imagination and whimsy, of wonder and festivals of light. It is the season of the longest night, but we celebrate the beginning of our journey back to light. We invite work on any of these themes. Deadline for submissions is Oct. 21st. Our exhibition cycle runs from Dec. 1st to April 1st. Please submit jpgs 1200 pixels (in longest direction), 72 dpi, with CV and artist's statement to wwartist@worcester.edu
