Susan J. Fisher

Professor Fisher has a Master of Education with concentration in the Art and Art Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts.  She is a ceramic sculptor, photographer and calligrapher. She is actively involved in art making and exhibits regularly. Susan has taught at Worcester State for over 20 years.  Susan also teaches at Clark University and Lesley University.  In all of her classes she weaves culture and art history into the art making process.  She recently designed and illustrated the book Children’s Songs from Afghanistan Qu Qu Qu Barg-e-Chinaar that was published by National Geographic and is part of the Children’s Songbook project.  The project is an effort to return these song to the children of Afghanistan.
