Boston Printmakers Show, Red Section

Meg Brown Payson at Worcester State
Meg Brown Payson finds inspiration for her paintings in imagery derived from a wide variety of scientific imagery. From microscopic images of the life of cells, to images sent back to earth from telescopic imagery of galaxies, her paintings try to represent real worlds in which we are immersed but that lie beyond our ordinary vision. Faculty and Student Art Show: "The Global Perspective"

The campus and greater community is invited to the opening reception of the newly renovated Art Gallery at WSU. The fall show, "The Global Perspective: Understanding the Past, Looking to the Future," will take place on Thursday, October 20 from 6-8 p.m.

The Gallery at WSU is location on the first floor of the Ghosh Science and Technology Center. Student and faculty artwork will be on display until December 1, 2011. This event is free and open to the public.
