Congratulations Days is a series virtual event for accepted students and their family members. Taking place over two weeks, you can choose to attend various sessions highlighting academic and social life at Worcester State. You and your family members will be able to connect with current Worcester State faculty and students, as well as other accepted students. Most importantly, we're celebrating you and your acceptance to Worcester State!
The Academic Week - Recap!
Start off your college journey with Worcester State! We want you to join our community so we created a welcome event just for you and your family members. University President, Barry M. Maloney, offered a congratulatory greeting along with other members of campus. Hear about our plans for in-person classes this fall and learn more about what makes Worcester State unique, such as our new academic framework – Major Plus.
Your plan for paying for college is one of the biggest decisions you and your family will make. This session provides an overview of your financial aid options, how to apply and where to go for assistance.

Tuesday, April 20
If you are looking for a general overview of Worcester State, including academic offerings and student life, then this session is for you! In addition to the basics, information on our new academic framework - Major Plus, will be shared along with guiding you through the steps to enrolling.
Wednesday, April 21
Interested in living on campus? Attend this session and get a close up look of #woolife. Here, you will learn about housing options and the on-campus experience from current students. Our residence life and housing staff will be available to answer all of your questions!
Worcester State’s NCAA Division III varsity athletic program develops you as a student-athlete to reach your full potential on and off the field. Even if you’re not interested in playing at the varsity level, health and wellness are a central part of who we are and what we value. Join us to discuss the benefits of Lancer Athletics including our Mentor Program. We will also highlight our state-of-the-art Wellness Center, home to our Recreation and Wellness programs that offers a variety of intramural sports/leagues, fitness classes and outdoor recreation.
We are here to help you make a successful transition to college. There are many offices on campus that offer a variety of support to ensure you have the resources needed to thrive academically and socially. This session will provide an overview of first-year academic advising, along with resources offered through Student Accessibility Services and Counseling Services.

At Worcester State, learning doesn’t just happen inside the classroom. Join a panel of students to hear about their experiences outside of the classroom including campus life, study abroad, student clubs and organizations, internships and more! You’ll even get a chance to ask questions so that you can find out what life at #WooState is really like!

The university offers many resources and support to create a welcoming campus climate. Come listen to a panel of current Worcester State students discuss their experiences with diversity and inclusion, both on and off campus. This interactive session will allow you to dialogue with the panelist and ask questions.
Congratulations! You’re an accepted transfer student. Attend this session to learn about next enrollment steps as you continue the journey toward becoming a Worcester State student. Our transfer coordinator, Ben McElroy, will also unlock the mystery of your Transfer Credit Evaluation so you can see how your credits will transfer over to Worcester State. There will be plenty of time to have a robust discussion, so come prepared with your list of questions.
