The center’s full-access areas are the DeFeudis Fitness Center, group exercise classes, and open recreation times in both gyms. Read below for details, fee information, and limitations:

  • Student Membership
If you are a Worcester State University undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in at least one credit, you have access the Wellness Center and the majority of its recreational and programmatic activities. Your OneCard student ID will serve as your membership card.
    Employee Membership
If you are a WSU employee, you can access the Wellness Center and its recreational and programmatic areas as a benefit of employment with the exception of the DeFeudis Fitness Center and group exercise classes, which require separate annual fees. Your OneCard employee ID will serve as your membership card.
    Alumni Access
Worcester State is eager to share the benefits of the new Wellness Center with our alumni. However, in our first year of operation, the focus will be on making the facility the best it can be for our current students and employees. An alumni access plan will be developed over the course of the 2016-2017 academic year. We expect to implement this plan by the summer of 2017.

In the meantime, we invite all alumni and members of the Worcester community to use the indoor elevated track during posted open hours on most mornings. Please note that liability waivers will be required on an annual basis and users must check in at the front desk in the center’s lobby.
