The Women’s Forum at Worcester State College


We invite students to join the Women's Forum -- a student-based women’s organization that aims to build a community devoted to understanding and improving women’s lives within the college campus and in the larger community.



Over the years the organization has produced significant programming on campus, including:


  • A self-directed production of Eve Ensler’s Vagina Monologues
  • Campus film screenings and panel discussions, including
    • North Country  & panel discussion on sexual harassment
    • Senorita Extraviada & panel discussion on violence against women
    • The Abortion Diaries & panel discussion on abortion


The Women’s Forum has also been engaged in the following community events:


  • A march in Washington D.C. defending women’s reproductive rights
  • Raising money and funds for Abby’s House
  • Donating proceeds from the Vagina Monologues to the Rape Crisis Center
  • Participation in the AAUW Winter Conference on Sexual Harassment
  • Participation in the Conference on Pornography & Popular Culture
  • Participation in the Worcester YWCA Daybreak and Jane Fund
