Purpose:
To ensure a consistent and stable computing environment in all labs, classrooms, on podiums and on office employee computers.
Statement:
Information Technologies will update labs and classrooms on an annual basis. IT will update software on College owned employee computers as needed.
Description:
Information Technologies will update labs on an annual basis, in August, to ensure that all semesters, within an academic year, remain consistent. College Departments will receive reminders to provide IT with updated requests. IT will contact College Departments (and vice versa) throughout the year for IT Planning requests. A current listing of labs/classroom computers and installed software will be maintained and available via the IT website.
Additional Information:
IT will do their best to accomodate emergent individual requests; requests must be submitted via the Help Desk. Individual requests will be applied only after sufficient testing has been completed to ensure stability and security.
