Purpose:
To establish compliance with Commonwealth guidelines for institutional email retention.
Statement:
Worcester State College will archive for a period of up to ten years (effective July 15, 2010) all email sent and received associated with the accounts of the College's division vice presidents and president. Email communications associated with all other College users are not automatically retained; the retention of such communications is the responsibility of indivdual users, as per personal need. The College does not consider email as an official document of historical record and does not locally backup its email systems.
