INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY 2007 - 2008
In the event of Inclement Weather, the Campus Police evening shift Sergeant will monitor weather forecasts
and conditions. If snow removal services are requited the Sergeant will call in the snow removal contractor.
At 4:30 A.M., if there is any question regarding the effect of weather conditions on college operations, the
evening shift Sergeant will contract the Associate Director of Facilities – Residence Life and advise him regarding current conditions, the forecast and the status of the contractor. The Associate Director will then confer with the Director of Facilities to decide the open/delay/close recommendation. The Director will then contact the College President for approval of the open/delay/close recommendation.
If classes are delayed or cancelled, the Director of Facilities / Assoc. Director will update the telephone system automated message; notify Campus Police, notify the College’s Information Technologies Associate Vice President and the TV/radio stations.
