Policy on NonDiscrimination



The University is committed to a policy of nondiscrimination, equal employment opportunity, and affirmative action in its educational programs, activities, and employment practices. The University maintains and promotes a policy of nondiscrimination on the basis of race, creed, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, and national origin. This policy incorporates by reference the requirements of Federal Executive Orders 11246 and 11375 as amended; the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as amended; Title IX of the Higher Education Act of 1972 as amended; Sections 503 and 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended; Section 402, Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974; The Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1988; and pertinent laws, regulations, and executive orders; directives of the Massachusetts Board of Higher Education, the Board of Trustees, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and other applicable state and federal statutes.


The Director of Diversity may be contacted regarding the College’s policy of nondiscrimination and affirmative action (including compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended).
