This policy established the guidelines for appropriate telephone instruments to be used on campus.
All telephone and telecommunication devices used on the College's voice network must be approved by Information Technologies.
The College and Information Technologies must maintain the integrity of the telecommunications system by ensuring that all telephone equipment installed on campus is compatible with the underlying infrastructure that supports it. All personnel on campus are assigned an appropriate telephone instrument as determined by need and or function. The instruments supplied are specifically designed to work with our voice network.
Unapproved telephone devices are not allowed to be used on the campus voice network.
