Waiver of Rental Fees

Policy

 

 

5.5.3

Both on and off campus clients may request a waiver of rental fees for those events in which it is appropriate for the University to waive such fees.

Procedure

 

 

 

 

 

I.                   Waivers will be granted on a case by case basis and must be filled out for each event individually.

II.                The client requesting facility usage is expected to cover all costs associated with their event.  This includes but is not limited to student staff, maintainer/grounds detail, college police detail, and food service when applicable.

III.             Those departments/offices requesting a waiver of fees for outside agencies agree to be held responsible for all requirements of the event for which the waiver has been procured and agree to be responsible for any costs associated to the University because of that event. 

Waiver forms will be given to the client by the Conference and Event Services Office and should be filled out entirely by the client with appropriate signatures.  Waiver is not complete until returned to the Conference and Event Services Office by the Office of Student Affairs.  The client will receive a copy of the approved or denied waiver once it is returned.
