I earned my Bachelor's degree from Salem State College and my Master's and Ph.D. from the University of Rhode Island. As an undergraduate I studied both mathematics and education, and my Ph.D. dissertation was a blend of the two disciplines. At Worcester State, I teach many math-content courses for our education majors. I am particularly passionate about working with this population of students, and one way I can have a positive impact on the community is by making sure we are sending teachers into schools who are prepared and have a strong understanding of and appreciation for mathematics.
