At Worcester State University, you will find the perfect blend of culture, community, and academics. Our campus features state-of-the-art facilities—Ghosh Science and Technology Center, Fuller Theater, Mary Cosgrove Dolphin art gallery, Sheehan Hall, and other modern residences—with more on the way. The new Wellness Center will expand our campus community’s health and recreation facilities by 100,000 square feet in 2016.

Whatever your course of study at Worcester State, we encourage you to take full advantage of learning opportunities inside and outside the classroom.

    • Undergraduate research gives you the opportunity to pursue hands-on exploration of vital topics. We celebrate these investigations at our annual Celebration of Scholarship and Creativity.
    • Internships provide you with real-world experience with notable employers like AT&T, Genzyme, Staples, UMass Medical Center, state agencies, city and town offices, area public schools, non-profits like RFK Children’s Action Corps, and more.
    • Community-based learning inspires you to make an impact on the local and global communities—we partner with more than 350 area organizations.
    • Studying away can provide one of your most transformative educational experiences. With more than 200 affiliations, you can travel to places like Argentina, Australia, Belize, Germany, Greece, and South Korea as well as around the United States through the National Student Exchange.
    • Commonwealth Honors Program will inspire you to excel with academic and cultural enrichment activities. Our program is one of the oldest and largest in the Massachusetts state university system.
    • Clubs and organizations let you enrich your education with involvement in more than 38 opportunities—in addition to our Division III NCAA athletics, intramural sports, and dynamic visual and performing arts programs. Campus-wide events like Welcome Week, Homecoming, Senior Capping, and Spring Week are among our favorite annual traditions.
