Joan Lada Butterworth
Clinical Instructor
Joan Lada Butterworth, M.S., CCC-SLP, BCS-F is a Clinical Instructor at the Worcester State University Speech-Language-Hearing Center. She has 41 years of clinical experience as an ASHA certified and MA licensed speech-language pathologist. She also holds board certification in fluency disorders from the American Board of Fluency and Fluency Disorders and is a Certified PESL ( Pronouncing English as a Second Language) instructor. Joan teaches CD-990 Speech Language Hearing Practicum at the graduate level. Her primary clinical interests include identification, evaluation, and clinical management of fluency disorders. Additional interests include Supervision, Accent Modification and use of mindfulness in treatment.
