This policy describes the general process for obtaining temporary guest access to the internet.

University Technology Services will make available temporary limited access to the network for members of the "extended" WSU community. The "extended" WSU community consists of guests of faculty and staff and on-campus meeting attendees.

In order to obtain guest access to the Worcester State University Network and associated services, members with accounts on the 'WSC_Domain' can access the self-creation link (24x7) at or can contact the help desk during business hours to obtain a guest username/password. The password will expire at 12:00am the following morning. The college member will need to contact the help desk for the new password each day.

Additional Information:
Long-term temporary guest type accounts are created on as requested basis. These requests are tracked at the Help Desk and renewable passwords will expire no later than WSU's existing password expiration rules.
