DESCRIPTION:Worcester State University and the Visual and Performing Arts Department present \nHold Me Tender \nfeaturing the sculptures of Bayda Asbridge \nOn view October 22 – November 21 at the Mary Cosgrove Dolphin Gallery. Free and open to the public during gallery hours. \nJoin us for the opening reception on October 22 from 4-7 pm. All are welcome! \nAn American artist with roots in the Middle East\, Bayda Asbridge’s series of boat sculptures examines identity\, displacement\, and belonging. Using muted colors\, natural materials\, and woven textures\, the boats—some shrouded\, others suspended or fractured—evoke both fragility and resilience.
