Community ESL Program Classes

When you enroll in the Intensive English Language Institute’s Community ESL Program, you will begin your journey to improve your English skills. Choose from the classes listed below—all taught by caring instructors who are knowledgeable about the English language and want to help immigrants in the Worcester area improve their English skills.
  • Our Integrated Skills classes are for students who wish to improve their general proficiency in English and gain confidence in their community, academic, and professional communications.

They will help you develop a broad base in skill areas, including reading, writing, listening, speaking, and grammar. Sentence structure and grammar, along with vocabulary building and writing exercises, will quickly increase your knowledge of the English language.

We offer 4 levels of classes from basic beginner to intermediate, broken into A and B components.

Classes meet twice a week for 2 hours for 12 weeks. Choose day or evening classes to fit your schedule.

Students work on specific problem areas of their writing to improve overall effectiveness to meet academic and professional standards. Students who place at the intermediate and advanced levels can take one class or all 3. These classes only are offered in the evening.
