During tutoring, you can get help with many skills, including:
- Listening to English
- Speaking English
- Writing English
- Understanding English grammar & vocabulary
Note. Help is extensive, but a tutor will not complete any assignments on behalf of students.

English as a second language (ESL) learners who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at Worcester State University are eligible for tutoring.

Email Catherine Goodwin to schedule an appointment at cgoodwin2@worcester.edu, and include “Request for Tutoring” in the subject line of the email.
Please note that:
- Students can only sign up for one 30-minute appointment per week
- Appointments must be requested at least one day before the session takes place
- You must use your Worcester State email address to request an appointment

Tutoring appointments with ESL Tutoring are free to all ESL learners who are Worcester State students.

Please make sure to have any assignment materials ready and available for you and your tutor on the date of your session.

ESL Tutoring will be available on Thursday mornings from Sept 29 to Dec 8, 2022 and will take place in the Administration Building, 4th Floor, Division of Graduate and Continuing Education, between 10:00am and 12:00pm.
