Dr. Sunny Ruggeri has bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Physics, Chemistry, and Nursing Education. She worked as a visiting researcher in Germany and Sweden. When she wanted to do a more emotionally rewarding job in her life, she continued her career in nursing and achieved her PhD in 2023. Dr. Ruggeri joined Worcester State University as an assistant professor in August 2022. She currently teaches courses in undergraduate and graduate nursing programs. Prior to joining WSU, she taught with other Worcester local nursing programs. She is bi-lingual in Korean and English. Her research focuses on big data analysis to understand health disparity among breast cancer patients.
